New Energy Charging Planetary Type Laying Up Machinery

 

A planetary type laying up machine uses a rotating planetary cage to twist or lay up multiple insulated cores, screens, or armor into a finished cable with controlled lay length and low residual torsion. It is widely used for power cables, control cables, XLPE-insulated cables, charging pile cables, and can also perform screening/armoring​ in a single pass. Typical line components include: central pay-off, planetary stranding cage, assembly die, taping/armoring device, meter counter, traction (capstan), take-up with traverse, and PLC/HMI control. Machines commonly support both full back‑twist​ and zero back‑twist​ modes to suit product torsion requirements

630/6: a planetary cage with 6 bobbins​ on a 630 mm​ reel flange, typically used as the high‑speed, in‑line stranding stage for compacting and laying up insulated cores or conductors.
